Feature – Horror | Comedy. Since the cancellation of his long-running series, TV star Nic Alexander has been slumming the convention circuit, barely scraping together enough to make his alimony payment. When he accepts an invitation to an exclusive event in a remote hotel in Maine, he’s shocked to discover that the few fans in attendance are real vampires, and he’s on the menu.
Vampires are eternal, and so is the vampire genre. Bloodmoon blends the world of fame & Hollywood celebrity with the real-world ancient curse of a noble bloodsucker. It’s part “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and part “Galaxy Quest,” with the comedic sensibility of “An American Werewolf in London.”
The screenplay was written by Christopher Corey Smith. The projected budget is $3,500,000, with Christopher Corey Smith producing and Rand Vossler directing. The project is currently in the development stage.
